First, you've always struck me as sounding more like Felix than Oscar. Second, you use the past tense, as if you are no longer like Oscar Madison, implying that you are no longer divorced, no longer single, or no longer reacting to divorce or singleness like Oscar Madison did. Could you explain that one without going into details, if you wish?
